I don't think they were aiming for S2000 HP/l.... the S2k was a $30k car when it began. Considering this cars space in the market, what it achieves is acceptable, and while I am just a tad disappointed in it's output (was hoping for 210ish) I'm sure all other aspects of the engine (powerband, reliability, economy and emissions, feel) will be superb. Pretty sure they could have gotten about 230ps had they desired (as per the chief engineer), and It's ok if they left that on the table for tuners to unlock.


Let the fun begin.

Please Toyota, do not fuck up the pricing.
