Here is the fix boys or at least so far for me. If you take the bottom panel off there and look under the dead pedal it is basically a piece of like styrofoam underneath to provide a base. This piece will rub against the metal and make the noise. You can use silicone sealant and just bead that baby up and it wont pop or squeek anymore. It has been working for me for about 2 months now.

Thank you for this - could you take a picture of the "Bottom Panel" you mentioned? Or at least explain that part a little better? I plan to do this when I get the car, as it seems like a common issue...thanks for the solution! You should post in the DIY section, for sure!
