I tested that too- sat in my car and locked the car with the key in the "off" position. If I then open the door or even start the car, the alarm will go off. BUT, if I lock the car AFTER I turn the key to the "on" position so that the radio functions etc. then I can unlock or start the car without the alarm going off.

I see.. thats what the guy said when I called them yesterday that it will be a quick fix and im out..then when I got there they gave me a BS that I need an apointment..drove all the way there for nothing..waste of gas and time.. today they suppose to call me and get that alarm set up right. . Not even sure if the alarm is even installed in the first place only thing that works are the buttons on the key to open/close door and pop trunk..also get my expensive window tint re worked..

not sure if alarm/tint can be done in one day.. just want my things done and over with and never go back to that dealer again.. services are rushed and not right..
