Yeah, thats in principle all i wanted to say. Of course it depends on the gearing. thats the reason why you can get more hp at less tq, but overall result of gearing AND torque is the Power (hp) that gets you to accelerate. you have to choose if you want high torque and low rpm or low torque and high rpm to get hp. All i i wnated to say is that you cant say you need tons of torque to accelerate when you got high revs.
