Here a example to prove my post yesterday, where I said you need only hp for acceleration and you just need torque to generate hp when you got no high revs.
My friend has a motorcycle with 1150ccm , 86hp and 98 Nm. (bmw r1150r)
Ive got a motorcycle with 600ccm , 98hp and only 65 Nm. ( suzuki gsr600)
So guess what: my has 0-100km/ in 3,4s and his 4,5s. (there are just 20kg whight differents, which is nearly nothing)
in this case you see that hp is important, not the torque and physics are the same on bikes and cars.
when you guys would be right than this could not be possible and I must be much slower than he
