Tell me where you see how air can pass through where the LED is mounted. The upper opening is for the running lights and the kit you speak of (at least the ones I've seen) use the lower portion (where the LED is) for the air duct.

lol my bad! saw the photos at the top of the thread and hit reply... from there is looked like it was just like the grill and open to air.
i wonder if some creativity with a dremel couldnt make these cross functional..
