I'll be glad when this new parts hype settles so I can see some real results, and some reliability after some serious driving. It all looks cool and sounds great, but I want it to last.

Dimman, what about a linux / unix os and virtual machine? Those things aren't too hard to setup and a number of linux flavors have a UI that's pretty easy to use. Hell, in some cases you can run a linux setup off a usb thumb drive. Might be able to do some leg work if it's something you're interested in. Just need some details. Sorry for butting in on your other discussion, just made me somewhat curious.
