Interesting how each dealer has different prices and recommendations.
I was advised to have the unit installed and hidden away non removable, as Toyota would pick up through there system that a chip was installed and removed, where as the fixed unit won't be picked up or found.
Whether this is factual I would not know or would not ask my dealership, in the event I create suspicion....
