I find it fun exploring what you can and can't do in the absence of full documentation. That's the beauty of it, IMO.

I believe it's stated in the manual that the sport features are disabled in manual. And I like that it stays on so when you toggle back to auto, you're able to continue using the more aggressive shifts, and the shift logic associated with the option. You can then tap the sport button to disable it. It makes sense that it works this way. The possibilities and advantages to this should require no explanation.
