I have. In my younger days I was doing j-turns drunk (not a public road, but still stupid). I nailed a burb hard with a rota slipstream wheel. Bent the suspension. Wheel was curbed but straight as an arrow :shrug:
Besides that I've never curbed one either. I have hit water filled potholes and bent an OEM Honda wheel (Enkei) before

Bent lower control arm on that one too.. at a whopping 25mph...
The most I've ever spent on wheels was around $1,500 for used Volks. Otherwise I usually run K1s or similar.. so 400-600 a set.
