If there's any chance of you making a centre pipe in 2.5" or 3", in SS or alloy that matches up to the stock parts but with a decent sized resonator and an option for a helmholtz resonator, then please let me know now.
I asked John about sending a me a helmholtz resonator kit that I could get fitted to my downpipe with HF cat while it's still waiting for the RHD overpipe to arrive so it would save me time and money.
Segregating the mufflers into two discrete mufflers per branch actually impacts sound levels greatly. We did initially test to see if we could put a single 4" OD x 3" ID muffler/resonator in a longer 3" section closer to the front and we were not satisfied with the overall fit of that design, so we switched to the one pictured. If we put a 3" muffler back further, it hinders the ability to get the two pipes around the diff on both sides, iirc. As for a 3" midpipe that mates to the standard or 3" inlet axleback, we do have the real estate in that design to put a 4x3 resonator in the rear section before the midpipe jogs around the driver (or in your case passenger) side of the differential. Drop me an email at sales@namelessperformance.com to discuss your helmholtz kit query at further length.
