Yes, 160g/km is only CO2 emissions, but it means that the engine is efficient regardless. Lower CO2 usually means less fuel burned but has no direct relation of actual MPG.

This review is really exciting. A few things stand out: Toyota had better make the nannies completely defeatable; I want to turn TC and SC OFF for winter time shenanigans. Also, I find it odd that they say it trounces the MX-5 and then give it 3 stars for handling. The MX-5 is one of the best handling cars in terms of driver feedback and predictability. But it's certainly high praise for a test mule. And this 'R' version that he spoke of, I want the Brembos and the mechanical LSD but none of the other stuff.

I just can't believe that there isn't an NDA on this sort of thing. Hyundai had a complete NDA on driving impressions on the Veloster until the day it was released. The fact that they've published this really surprises me.
