It's substantially quiet, but picked up 6ft lb in the midrange over the full header-back layout that we had on our car. With so many people talking turbo, we wanted to give a few options for those individuals who would need higher flow. Lo and behold, it picks up more midrange on an N/A car as well, just a bit louder - so we laid out an option for adding two resonators to the system to pull that sound level down and landed on a design that is quieter than the standard header+OP/DP+Street Axleback. Second reason for laying out that system is that it packs up in a box that we can ship to Australia via USPS without incurring astronomical shipping charges.

I'll post a few photos of that full dual layout here in a few - gotta pull them off of an SD card that is hiding somewhere in my office.

Also, the layout shown above has more real estate for longer mufflers than our original design.

So you're saying I should wait on the Axleback package and go with this one? Very interested. If I went FI, it would be later on down the road, but this system sounds like a winner.

I originally intended on doing the Header + OP/DP/Axleback combo, but if this ends up working better, I'd rather go this route. I really do like loud, but it's gotta be a good, non raspy, ricey loud.
