Ironically this is pretty much the exact setup I was planning for my R53 Mini Cooper on using a Kenwood KIV-BT901! I was going to have JML Audio here in St. Louis do the install for me before I decided to trade out to the BRZ. Thanks for the excellent write up.

From what I've read on <ahem> another forum <ahem> the Hertz amps are basically identical to the new PPI Phantom stuff. If so I'll likely sub out the Hertz amp for a PPI version to save some cash or maybe use an Arc Audio. Do you think the 5 channel amps enough for those two Hertz subs or would you recommend a seperate 4 channel and mono block?

Do you know if the Hertz 3 way setup support biamping or not?
