Was it the word "hybrid" that scared you? What if it were the Nissan 1.6T GDI with an electric boost system, a la Porsche 918? Would that take the scare out of the word "hybrid"?
Sure, if they make a Nissan CR-Z, it'll likely be awful. That car was meh on paper and even worse in practice.
Hybrid Silvia with a proper turbo 4, IMA, 7MT, rear drive, and mechanical LSD would be a legit offering. They can't straight up offer an S15 redux as the world has moved on since then.
