Not really. The FT86 will offer lower weight, better handling, lower insurance rates, better gas mileage, lower maintenance and repair costs, less expensive tires, and more fun on regular roads than any Subaru or whatever with those specs on the market today. Think Mazda 5 vs Mazdaspeed 3. And to sweeten the pot, the FT86 is more practical than the Mazda 5 with 4 seats and the ability to carry golf clubs, tires, whatever, which makes it somewhat practical to own this as your only vehicle rather than a sporty second car. This car hits a sweet spot for some of us that no other new car provides right now.
