any experts out there that can tell if its a toyota ecu or subaru? yes both use denso, but is there perhaps a telltale sign that its more toyota-like or susbaru-like?

seems like the boxy looking guard between the intake pipe and oil filter is hiding it. in the frankfurt BRZ engine pics, you can see what looks like a clutched pulley.
