That was me originally--in part because my fiance has a white Subaru Outback and I thought it's be neat if I also got a white Subaru. But--with the $5k to $7k+ price gouging that was going on here in SoCal in June when I was in the market to buy, I started shopping for FR-S instead.
Then, looking at the twins' front fascia's I discovered I was far more fond of the FR-S' than the BRZ's. I really hate that really visible black plastic bar on the front of the BRZ...
I thought I was going to miss the Nav in the FR-S, but the steering's so sensitive that having to fiddle with a touchscreen while driving safely prolly wouldn't have been a good thing for me. Now with the OEM Audio + system I don't car about anything but the sound in my car. <3
The extra money I didn't spend can go into extras for the car someday: maybe a catback exhaust, tint, roof wrap, head unit and antenna upgrade, trunk liner, new rims and tires (so I can keep the stock rims for autocrossing!), etc etc etc.
