Nobody has said it 'cause you're all fanboys; THE INTERIOR IS CHEAP, that's why most people bag on it. You can wax philosophical all you want about how you like the minimalism but the bottom line is that it would have looked cheap 10 years ago, it's got the same buttons that my mother's 8 year old RAV4 has. It's a sports car on a budget, be honest about it. If you dig it, you dig it, I know I do (I have zero interest in the "nicer" BRZ).

That being said, if you go for a test drive and drive like a normal, safe, sane driver, it will feel incredibly boring. The steering has a nice weight and excellent precision, the pedals have very short, responsive travel, the gearbox is tight and precise, and the driving position is good with good forward visibility but some annoying blindspots rearward, but it really isn't anything stunning. I didn't feel like abusing the recommended break in procedure because I know I wouldn't want anyone doing that to the car I'm going to buy.
