Yep in fact I was actually thinking of the Miata when I wrote that. People who've never driven one love to make fun of it. But get behind the wheel of a Miata at the track or push it hard on back roads and it is a hoot.
It's sad that some folks will never get over their pre-conceived notions (whether it be cars, food, genders, races, religions, etc.) and experience new things, but that's life I guess.
