I just saved up for a few months. I didn't have a big down payment witch is why my payments are so high. And yeah obviously the car is under my dads name. But my dad only payed for one month because I was struggling with family problems/work/school and I'm paying him back for that tomorrow when i get paid. I turn 18 in 2 months. My sister is going to help me start building my credit and lead me in the right detection so I can transfer the finance and get the car under my name. So I guess you can say he's helping me by getting the lease but I'm still paying for the car with my hard earned money.
Thats the way to do it man! Get that credit young! Just don't abuse credit cards. Only buy stuff if you save or can afford it. Building large portions of debt at your age is a bad choice unless its a cool car like a FRS of course! People will not hate on you if your making payments on your baby. Give yo parents some credit where they deserve it video!!
