I just saved up for a few months. I didn't have a big down payment witch is why my payments are so high. And yeah obviously the car is under my dads name. But my dad only payed for one month because I was struggling with family problems/work/school and I'm paying him back for that tomorrow when i get paid. I turn 18 in 2 months. My sister is going to help me start building my credit and lead me in the right detection so I can transfer the finance and get the car under my name. So I guess you can say he's helping me by getting the lease but I'm still paying for the car with my hard earned money.

Same thing I did with my first car payment. You should have co-signed on the loan, that way your name may not be on the title, but all those payments you are making would still be doing something for your credit
