There is a trunk release output from the Advanced keys system. To make it easier I just walk up to the car and when the doors unlock the trunk request switch is active. When the doors are locked it is in-active. So I hardly use the remote to open it.
That's why I think all FRS owners should do this mod.... Super sweet!
The Dremel got away form me just a bit.... Haha!
