OK, I guess I need more help. I have gotten the scan to run multiple times. I don't seem to have a choice in what type of scan. Sometimes they run 5 or 6 minutes. Sometimes they run for over 30 minutes. I seem to have no control. I have captured one 'short' scan and emailed it to myself.
I suggest you PM me with an email address that I can send it to. I have to eat now and go somewhere. I will try to get another try in tonight when I return home. BRZ is sitting in the garage due to nasty weather so it will still be 'cold.'

Go to plugins. Install torque scan. Open it from the main menu. Hit menu select pid scanner. Try running a normal scan at first to see if that cintains the data we need. Run scan again without the oil sensor plugged in. I would make sure the car has been sitting for a while in case other values change from the first to second one. If the scan does not contain the data then try the full scan.
