I don't mind honest reviews as long as they have facts to back it up with.
They can't say "It SUCKS!" without explaining "It SUCKS! The suspension is vague and has a dual personality deciding sometimes to be harsh on rough roads but vague and overdamped on smooth tarmac" as an example (I know what I just said as an example makes no sense technically). I never did understand why EVO didn't like it.
I now know personally people who have the car and they love it to bits and do agree the hype was right. Heck, one guy traded in his M5 for the FR-S which I found rather overextreme.

Yep that is the one. I agree their reasoning didn't really make sense. I remember in one of the reviews afterwards of the GT86 (where they actually admitted liking it), they tried to say this GT86 was so much better than the BRZ they tested earlier.
Talk about trying to save face. They're nearly identical cars! There's not going to be that much of a difference between the two.
And yeah I'm really enjoying mine, even coming from a much faster STI.
