To keep a "clean" line, You would either have to "run over" that line in which the two-tone separation wouldn't be "straight", or include the entire crease area which runs all the way forward of the A-pillar.

yeah i get what you mean. how about if you extend it all the way back to the trunk, and under the crease line all the way towards the door?
alls i know is that the two tone C-pillar looks off to me.
but this one is perfect
