I've noticed the ECT gauge goes up really slowly, but the sequence *only* has worked for me when the gauge is at its "normal" position.
How quickly the gauge goes up for me really depends on how I'm driving when the engine is cool. Gotta remember guys, the DI really helps keep the engine cool, especially when you're driving under low load and it's ONLY using localized lean burns.
