Probably not, the stock tape supplied with the TRD kit(s) are pretty crap. However you can buy 3M "VHB '4949'" 12mm wide, 45micron thick double sided tape to replace them. That's what I'll be doing with my front bar. Gonna take it off, remove the crap stock tape on it, replace with VHB.

Tape is pretty expensive though, $115-125 for a 32.9m roll. If I had to use the TRD spoiler, I would just use VHB 4949 tape only. That stuff is incredibly strong(It's the tape used with my Carsmo rear spoiler).

I'd be too paranoid water would be trapped underneath the spoiler and rusting the hell out of the bonnet. I wouldn't bother drilling the hole.
