Even when it came out brand new, never seen it w old folks. Oldest I know & seen is end 30's (my friend, he used to own it til he got GS).
Now, I'm not pointing out only Toyota. Subaru (S2xx series), Nissan (Nismo edi), Mitsubishi (AYC), Mazda (MS edi), Honda (Type-R & Mugen edi). Even now, US fans get screwed. You can't denied that.
All those cars are described by the designers "sportiness" and other stuff... BUT all those "Sportiness" stay in the rising sun.

maybe i wasnt clear enough, what i meant was that LEXUS buyers were usually older people. not the IS300, but lexus as a brand. and when they decided to bring the IS over, im sure they wanted the car to be like a lexus.
yes the US gets screwed out of a lot of cars but there are a myriad of reasons. i dont agree with people that think that they just wanted to keep the best stuff for themselves. a lot of the times it has to do with the million laws we have in the US. that's why the elise is no longer sold here, that's why the Golf R doesnt come with the DSG gearbox, etc.
all those cars are also low volume and may not be profitable enough to bring over if it requires extra emissions and crash testing, etc. i think my main point is that car companies dont screw us over on purpose. it just happens that way, for one reason or another. the least of which is to intentionally deprive us of awesome sporty cars...
