I agree. The s2k was $36,000. I expected the ft86 to have performance more on par with a Miata. To be as fast as an S2000 is impressive in my opinion, although it was obviously not stock wheels/tires and suspension, but that can all be bought aftermarket. Put an EJ207 with 300hp in this thing and it will be a beast.

It came in 3rd in class, 4 minutes behind the s2k and 3 laps behind the CTR. There was also a stock CTR (class V3) that was 2 minutes in front of the ft86 and another stock CTR that was 1 lap ahead.
