Jaguar AJ126 -- 3.0l Supercharged V6 that puts out 375hp @6,500 rpm and 340 lb-ft of torque @ 3,500-5,000 rpm. I believe this engine is near perfect for the FR-S/BRZ because of its small displacement, its high relative power output, and the song it sings when the throttle is wide open.
