WRT to the rev matching;
Me personally, I don't need or want it in a manual car. I do see the appeal, and think it'd actually be a neat feature.
However, it implicates having drive by wire, and an ECU capable of tuning it which
a) Will mess with the driving feel and
b) affect ease of tuning.
Which are serious negatives in a car of the alleged nature of the FT-86.
I'm from the Collin Champan school of though. Add lightness and simplify. No need for the extra sensors, weight, complexity etc etc etc.
