The rev matching offered in the manual Z isn't going to help a competent driver go any faster, or a driver with a disability pull of any operation that he couldn't without it.

True, but it does help newbie ppl who is interested in racing world to learn what is rev matching.
...but I gotta say for myself, I don't need it. It's waste of weight & money.
