The 86 was also designed with the Auto in mind although many people in these forums would still associate getting a MT as somehow being more masculine. Coming from a fancy Audi DSG, I would be highly interested in your impressions of the 86 AT. The AT changes gears very responsively in Manual mode. I'd be curious as to your impressions if you ever get an opportunity to hop in a 86 AT. One advantage of a slush-box torque converter Auto found in the 86 is that it should be way more reliable than DSGs (at least that is what I've been led to believe).
