I guess I can see how one can lose control of these cars with all of the nannies off...

I drive around in the snow and ice switching between all of the settings. Some work better than others. Snowy incline and stoplight-starts are easier with TC off. At speed, turning a wide, gradual corner seems easier with VSC Sport activated. On the highway, all of the nannies are on since I'm going fast and straight.

Right now it is icy and slick as snot, so I've kept all of the nannies on. I've gone out and had some fun in open parking lots with other Subies. You REALLY have to be hooning to have something go terribly wrong with these cars. Even when there's a little slippage, I can instantly tell and adjust according because this car communicates SO well. All of my other AWD performance Subarus were vague.

So, in my opinion, if you're going to go buckwild, start slow, then work up to Drift King.
