Update - santa's little elves, or at least AVO's, have been busy working on some updates to the turbo kit.
This is what it will look like with the full ceramic coating. That's exhaust manifold, turbocharger hotside, and the turbo discharge pipe.
Sharp-eyed forum members will note that there are additional differences between this and the initial kit photos, such as the one on my car. We *have* been busy, using feedback from the racetrack testing (road course, not drag) to make some improvements.
1. The oil reservoir tank has been redesigned to a flat tank, with the oil breather line moved to the front. This was to improve fitment and increase capacity of the tank. In the case of the breather line we found that due to the acceleration of the turbo kit (seriously) it was having some oil go up the line under hard launching/acceleration.
2. The exhaust manifold piping was redesigned for a more compact fit and even shorter piping, to improve the fitment under the engine tray and to increase response even more.
3. Hard to see, but an additional bracket for mounting the turbo was added.
And to answer the question yet to be asked, but I know it will be, yes, these are changes that will show up on the initial batch of kits shipping in January.
