Yeah, the one good thing about the 6 piston AP kit from Essex with the 4? Piston rear setup (I think they have rears for that one, correct me if I'm wrong. IIRC it's mucho dinero) is that there is SO much thermal mass that melting the dust shields will likely be a very, very remote possibility.
As far as track performance, it's my understanding that the stock rear brakes with good pads and fluid are more than sufficient. They just aren't as pretty as a nice monoblock. I think you'd have to be running slicks and a lot of HP to make the rears be the limiting factor.

JRitt - what is your opinion on daily driving the CP8350 calipers? I've gotten varying opinions on the need for dustboots.
