The Stillen and 6-pot Essex/AP kits are "street systems" with dust shields and I think aluminum pistons. I don't understand how Stillen does the rear e-brake, maybe they don't use an e-brake?

The Essex Sprint and Endurance systems are race calipers, stainless pistons, no dust shields. The Essex website has very good blogs on the weight differences from stock.

The Essex 6 pot system is so big that you probably couldn't melt the dust seals.

I know crap about Stoptech.

Any proper 12x1.25" curved vane rotor with a 4 piston caliper and some aggressive pads will stop a 650hp, 3300 lb car very effectively. Its a decision about how often you want to change/turn rotors.

I race a 425hp/3000lb w/driver&gas car with basically the same size brakes as a stock FRS/BRZ. It will stop fine, but I have to replace rotors after a three 25 minute races at hard braking tracks. That sucks but I have to abide by sanctioning body rules for my class.
