I agree, and for me it was expectations. I actually drove a 6MT G35C first, and thought it was decent. Liked a lot about it but absolutely hated the seats and the fact there there was no chance in hell I'd be able to wear a helmet in the car without opening the sunroof (a complaint I had with my Integra GS-R at the time already). The G35C also seemed.. confused I guess for lack of a better way of saying it. Sometimes when beating on it the car felt soft and floaty, exactly how it shouldn't feel as a sports coupe, and then when just driving it around town like normal it felt harsh and overly stiff.. it was just kind of weird.
Then the 350Z Track, it was a huge disappointment. Now I don't think it was much, if any, different from the G35C but I *EXPECTED* it to be so much more than the G35C and it failed at that.
The 350Z Nismo and 370Z Nismo though.. those are nice.. although the 350Z Nismo is possible the most annoying resonating stock street car I've ever driven.. until you want to have fun with it
