Those decade old examples won't hold up in 2012, the industry and its expectations have changed drastically.

Expectations have changed for the worst. People think cars should ALWAYS have power steering, airbags and fucking automatic transmissions. The more throw-back this car is the better (with the exception of the stereo).
I don't care if the 0 to 60 time is 7 seconds, as long as it feels fast.
Note: A 370z FEELS SLOW to me compared to a Miata that is half the speed.
