I, myself like IS300. There are few things I hate bout IS300.
1. It's not 6sp (like JP ver).
2. Don't have beam engine (like JP ver).
3. Weight more than I hoped.
4. NA 2JZ is nice... but not enough hp vs weight.
There are few mods ppl do that makes IS300 worth owning.
1. Swap em w 2JZ turbo w Supra 6sp tranny.
2. Shave several lbs of weight to <2,900lbs.
3. Suspension setup need tuning to make weight on front concern.
4. Or for hell of it, I'll put UR engine lmao

And yes, they are heavy cars, because they are luxury sedans. So, idk if thats what you want. I would keep looking for a Miata...

Remember guys, its a first 'real car', not something that could destroy a C6 corvette on a track and in a straight line lol. From whatever this mystery car is, I will jump to the BRZ. So requsits are
Cheap
RWD
Manual
Good lookin
Preformance oriented
Cheap
Not a lot of money
Not too expensive
Cheap
and most important - fun

Guff I think I just described the Miata (and a z32) hehe
