I hope that is a typo. If not, you need to do a bit more research about this subject. 14:1 being talked about is a ratio of of masses in the fuel mixture, that actually means 14 of air to 1 of fuel... The higher number the "leaner" because there is more air per fuel. Running lean leads to detonation and high temperatures among other things.
As for the Dynos, several plots are posted in the site showing the AFR mixture and why it is too lean with virtually all intakes.
