The FA20 can only vary timing, not lift/duration. In other words VVTI, not VVTL-I.
ok i figured thats what he meant.

i came out of an 8th gen si, vtec is cool, but we do have much more low end power, and while the vtec "kick" is cool, it's also very disruptive. you have to anticipate it and kind of treat in vtec and out of vtec like 2 different cars.
