Completely agree with what's been said, on a stg1 87 won't kill anything. Drive like a grandma, keep the rpms down and fill up on 93 a few times.
I just wanted to say that typically subarus have a drain plug in their gas tanks, I would expect the brz to have one as well but haven't checked.
