One tank isn't going to be worth all that effort IMHO. A lot of the cars (including mine) were delivered with 87 in them from the dealer. You can minimize it by filling it more frequently the next few times (maybe at 3/4 tank once, then at 1/2 tank a couple of times).

Caveat that with I don't know anything about your tune.

By the way, I HATE WITH A PASSION that the 86 has a gas lid release on it. The gas cover is very flimsy as is and I think it will be an issue long term. Also, mine has actually refused to open on one occasion (had to pop it 4 times before it worked).
