Honestly I have no idea.
It ties in nicely competing with the TRD offering and suspect its a stop-gap until a true STi comes out. The NZ Sales Manager was adament Subaru has confirmed "No STi" but he had just handed me a catalog for accessories so I think he was manoeuvering me into a position to drop more cash. Just doing his job.
The car drove beautifully with the suspension upgrades and sticky rubber.
