I'm sadly too late to ask Scion but I see my question was sort of asked anyway, so that's good.

Mr. Tada, thank you for building the 86, it's something Toyota and it's fans have needed for many years. My only regret, and I doubt you can do anything about this but I have to ask, is that I and many others do not get to enjoy a Toyota 86 GT Limited in Canada or any Toyota sports.. no, performance cars, in Canada (North America). I'm a long standing Toyota fan and I feel abandoned with the Scion offering. I have attempted to contact Toyota Canada via multiple channels and not a single one has been able to assist me in acquiring the parts necessary to do a conversion on a Scion FR-S to a Toyota 86 GT Limited, since Toyota refuses to offer their version here. They simply refuse to help me get the parts even though I'm willing to pay. All versions of the car, Toyota, Scion, Subaru, all come from the same plant along with all of their parts. Why are we not able to obtain those parts from a Toyota dealer and can you make this happen or advise the people who can make this happen? The North American version of the Subaru BRZ has most of those options, so why can't Toyota get them?

Is there plans if any to involve Yamaha with further development of the engine like most of the high performance Toyota engines?
I know it's primarily a Subaru engine but Yamaha has always help develop their high performance engines, example BEAMS 3SGE, 4AGE, JZ engines and the powerful 1LR-GUE in the LFA.
Don't forget the 2ZZ-GE.
