In the end, I do prefer the BRZ over the Genesis for more than one or two items. It's a sum of everything that I wanted in a car and no longer wanted in my previous cars. Lighter weight, better MPG, more tossable, smaller (both exterior AND interior). Basically I wanted nicely fitted glove, rather than a comfy pair of mittens.

And that's all I have to say about that!
I went back and forth between the two until I finally bought the FRS.I was looking at the 3.8 model. As nice as they appear to be and as fast as the 3.8 genesis was,I could not get past the Hyundai thing. It appears they have come a long way,but its still a hyundai. I just kept thinking Toyota/Subaru or ...a hyundai?

Hyundais and Kias had a bad rep for building cheap cars for too long, they were not "bad" cars, just cheaply built.

I guess only time will tell,if these Genesis's are still running around like old Civics 10 years from now, then maybe hyundai finally got it right.
