It doesn't fit. The reason for it any who has a right hand drive car you will find that the steering column shaft will be perfectly in the way of your over pipe.
After looking at any images I could find on the installation of the exhaust I found one image of the header pipe with the steering shaft missing. Makes sense, as the exhaust is made in the states. So for every one in Australia if you are going to get of these exhausts be prepared to have the over pipe redesigned for it to fit.
The cat back version should be fine though.
I removed the headers to see if could get it to fit of course with no luck. Good thing was it was only 6 bolts to remove. That was the highlight of my many hours today knowing another great deign feature of the 86.
