Took about 45 minutes for them to do the flash. I had an oil change at the same time so I don't know if it's influenced by new lube or just a placebo effect but beforehand avg cold idle was just above 500 Rpms now about 750 Rpms. I noticed an idle drop/dip tended to happen after hitting 80's on the highway or tearing a strip. I did both and no fall off or dip.i felt like it shifted better but I'll leave that one to long term "testing" as I can't see how it's influenced.

Overall I think it was a good choice if they're fibbing about the real reason they're doing the flash because it doesn't require an owner to plead their case or a dealer totry to figure out how to document an idle issue.
